Our Wedding

Rachel and Jonathan met in the summer of 2023 while Rachel was employed at a cryotherapy and tanning spa, working on her degree in Early Childhood Education. Jonathan, already well established in his career, happened to be one of the spa’s regular cryotherapy clients. What started as twice-a-week, ten-minute exchanges eventually became quaint little meetings they both quietly looked forward to most during their days. After several desperate months of Rachel dropping behemoth hints, she finally just instructed him to take her number. Unfortunately, Rachel wasn’t used to the acrylic nails she was sporting for her spa gig, and accidentally entered one digit incorrectly into Jonathan’s phone. He texted her on the way back to his car, while she spent the whole night double-checking her phone🤭 Eventually it all worked out, and they officially started dating in February the following year. Things at the spa became a little turbulent, and neither Rachel nor Jonathan cared much for the toxicity. Rachel’s mom offered some simple advice: “Rachel… this seems like a good man… and you can get a way better job.” Both turned out to be true. By the summer of 2025, Rachel had become a preschool teacher, and Jonathan had proposed. Now they both look forward to celebrating their next chapter with you on October 17, 2026.

Join us Friday evening, October 16th, in the Hearth Room at Sunriver Resort for a warm welcome to family and friends. Relax with drinks and appetizers, inside or outside by the fire as we kick off the wedding weekend.

Ceremony, dinner, drinks and dance will take place Saturday evening, October 17th. Celebrations will be held in the Great Hall at the Sunriver Resort.

We want you to be comfortable and feel your best when you celebrate with us. We only ask that you keep your attire appropriate, avoid all white, and leave the jeans in the suitcase. Our color palette is below, but feel free to wear what you'd like. We will remember your presence, laughter and joy on this day, not what you wore.
